Booking Terms & Conditions

By making a reservation at Hotel Mist Wood, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

★ Rate Policy

All B2C room rates are inclusive of GST and taxes.
Hotel Mist Wood reserves the right to update rates based on changes in government taxes.
The tariff does not include charges for optional services and incidentals (breakage, food & beverage, firewood, telephone calls, etc.). These will be charged additionally.
Prices and offers are subject to change at the management's discretion without prior notice.

★ Guarantee & Payment

All bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation by advance payment through UPI, cards, or Net Banking.
All major cards are accepted.
Bookings can be made simply by making an advance deposit either through Net Banking, UPI, or Bank Transfer done via RTGS/NEFT.
Room tariff must be settled in full at the time of check-in.
All bookings are tentative unless paid for in advance. The booking is not confirmed till we send you booking confirmation.
In case we receive payment and there are no rooms available, the full booking amount will be refunded.

★ Arrival & Departure

Check-in: 2:00 PM. Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, a reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night.
Check-out: 10:00 AM. Late check-outs are available on request and subject to availability.
Accommodation may be extendable on a pro-rata basis, subject to availability.

★ No Smoking Policy

The Government of India has introduced a 'no smoking' rule for rooms, restaurants, and all public places.
Smoking is prohibited in all parts of the hotel except in designated balcony rooms.
Please inform us when making your reservation if you require a smoking balcony room.
All upgrades to higher room categories are subject to availability at the time of check-in.

★ Child Policy

One child up to 5 years of age can stay in the parent's room without additional charges.
Children over 5 but less than 12 years can stay in the parent's room. Extra bed if required will be charged as per extra bedding policy.
If a child is above 12 years of age, a separate room will be required at the parent's applicable room rate.

★ Extra Bedding Policy

We provide a proper bed chargeable at Rs. 2,000 per night.
Note: Guest must inform about extra bedding requirements in advance to avoid inconvenience.

★ Identity Proof

All guests must carry a photo identity to present on check-in.
Foreign nationals are required to present their valid passport and visa.
Indian nationals can present a government-issued photo ID (Driving License, Passport, Aadhar Card, or Voter's ID). PAN Card is not accepted.
Keep proof of corporate affiliations handy for corporate bookings.

★ Driver & Pet Policy

Driver's Accommodation: We do not provide in-house accommodation for drivers. However, we provide food and quilt at a nominal price of Rs. 200. Please inform us in advance as quilts are subject to availability.
Pets: We do not allow pets in our hotel premises.

★ Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation received within 15 days prior to arrival date will incur the full period charge.
Failure to arrive at your hotel will be treated as a No-Show and no refund will be given.
All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations are not accepted over the phone.
The hotel reserves the right to cancel non-guaranteed reservations after 18:00 hours on the day of arrival.
Guaranteed room reservations if not cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival would attract a 100% retention charge.
In the event of cancellation 48 hours beyond scheduled arrival, please retain the cancellation number to ensure no retention is levied.
Guests are urged to reconfirm their departure date and time during check-in as an early departure fee is charged to guests who shorten their stay without notification upon arrival.

★ Refund Policy

In the event there is any claim for refund by the user for any reason whatsoever, such refund (if any) shall be affected only by Hotel Mist Wood via payment gateway or by means as Hotel Mist Wood deems appropriate.
Upon receiving the request for cancellation from the guest (as per cancellation/no show policy), the hotel will immediately contact the bank to handle the crediting process.
The refund will be made through the credit card used to purchase.
In a normal scenario, the refunded amount shall reflect in the next billing cycle of the credit card. However, it could take around 30–45 business days for the actual crediting to take place depending on the bank's practice.
No claims for refund shall be made by any user to the Payment Service Provider(s), and in the event such claim is made, it shall not be entertained.

Please Note: Reservations made on promotional offers with 100% advance deposit required at the time of reservations are non-cancellable, non-refundable, and non-amendable for the entire length of stay.

Jurisdiction: All disputes arising out of or in connection with bookings and stays at Hotel Mist Wood are subject to Shimla district jurisdiction.
