Cancellation Policy

1. General Cancellation Terms

At Hotel Mist Wood, Dalhousie, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent. Please review the following terms before finalizing your booking.

2. Free Cancellation Window

Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge up to 7 days (168 hours) prior to the check-in date (Indian Standard Time). The full advance/deposit amount will be refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

3. Late Cancellation Charges

• Between 7 days and 72 hours before check-in: 50% of the total booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
• Less than 72 hours before check-in or No‑Show: 100% of the booking amount will be retained. No refund will be provided.

4. No‑Show Policy

If you do not arrive at the hotel on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice, it will be considered a no‑show. The entire booking amount will be charged, and the remaining nights will be released for resale.

5. Early Departure

Should you decide to shorten your stay after check-in, the remaining nights will be charged in full as per the original reservation. No partial refunds will be issued for unused nights.

6. Amendment / Date Change

Reservation modifications (date changes) are subject to availability and must be requested at least 7 days before the original check-in date. Any difference in room tariff will apply. Late amendments may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.

7. Refund Process

All refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation. The amount will be credited back to the original payment method (credit card, debit card, UPI, or bank transfer).

8. Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances

In the event of natural disasters, government-imposed travel restrictions, or other force majeure situations, Hotel Mist Wood reserves the right to offer a full refund or a future travel credit at its discretion, even if the standard cancellation deadline has passed.

9. How to Cancel or Modify

All cancellation or modification requests must be communicated in writing via email to hotelmistwood7@gmail.com or by calling our reservations team:

This cancellation policy is effective as of June 2026 and is subject to change without prior notice. The policy applicable at the time of booking will govern your reservation.
